The expression "qualia" was launched in philosophical literature by C. I. Lewis. The term is derived from Latin and means "of what type". It is largely a quantity or property of a thing as perceived or knowledgeable by somebody, much like the scent of rose, the style of wine, or even the discomfort of the headache. They are really hard to articulat
